How to be bored and annoyed by.....

The book is very dry and the publisher limits reading the book on kindles with text to speech. I got the book to read on my kindle for class instead I have to read on a computer screen. The material is repetitive, dry, and mentions many other disciplines but never answers the what is the point question or why this is beneficial. It feels like an "Intro to Corporate American 101" textbook, not an advanced interdisciplinary guide.

This is a very effective book for introducing key managerial concepts. If you are seeking the theory behind things like motivation, team work, organizational structure and human behavior in work settings, this book is the perfect match. You'll also find practical application throughout the text that brings more context around how research applies to today's business challenges.

Boring. That About Sums it Up.

I found this book extremely boring. I had to have it for one of my graduate classes and it is just so...blah. Just blue words on white paper. Not a lot of illustrations or anything to break up the monotony. The "stories" at the beginning of each chapter are so ridiculously corny. This book is completely overpriced!
